Before you donate

1. You send the funds to one of our general crypto wallets.
2. After your transfer, you select the charity of your desire.
3. You provide us with your used wallet address so we can connect your donation to your preferred charity and you.
4. Write a message for the Hall of Fame.
5. We will send you a confirmation by email when we’ve received your donation.
6. Once a quarter, we donate 95% of all donations to the selected charities. We use 5% for operations & marketing.
7. We are always looking for ambassadors & volunteers to help us spread the “Crypto for Charity” message! Contact us here.

A few questions you might have:

• Question: Why should you use us and not donate directly instead?
  Answer: Most of these organisations don’t have anything to do with cryptocurrencies (yet). We want to make it easy to donate with crypto for people like you and provide you with a great list of charities, instead of you having to search for them.
  
  
• Question: So you keep 5% from my donation?
  Answer: Yes, like most charities we keep a small percentage of the donation to keep our website running and do some marketing. If in the future it turns out 5% is too much, we will lower this obviously, so most goes to the charities that need it.
  
  
• Question: Is CryptoforCharity.net a charity organisation itself?
  Answer: Yes we are! We are NOT a commercial organisation, but a (in Dutch) Stichting (Non Profit Foundation) so we’re not making any profits, have expensive offices or driving excessive lambo’s.
